As a medium, I don’t believe in coincidences. Everything is energy and there are reason certain events line up. I use Tarot in my readings and the amount of people who have said to me “Oh that card comes up all the time for me!” – it generally means that spirit is trying to communicate to you and you’re not hearing them.

I also get asked a lot about angel numbers, spirit animals, birds and or feathers and an attraction to a certain colour that they have never been attracted to before. These are ways guides communicate. Think of spirit as speaking French when you speak English and mediums as the translators in between. Some of us read with cards, some of us with feelings, some of us hear words and sayings and some of us see visions.

If you’re ever wondering what a sign from spirit might be, here are a few common ways someone is trying to send you a message.

There have been occasions in my life where I have needed to find truth. Whether it’s in what path to take, what someone else is or is not telling me or something that spirit decided I needed to know because the universe simply knows ore than I do and it’s decided it’s time for me to know as well. I get a mix of the above personally, in hopes of helping you unpack how spirit may be attempting to communicate to you, There are a million and one interpretations on Google for all of these things but I have included some of my own interpretations below. They are based off experience as a Medium, from reading for myself and other people and they may be a little different to what you’re familiar with.

Being suddenly attracted to a new colour you previously have had no interest in is a sign that spirit is seeking to balance something within you. In my experience this is mostly shown in one of the chakra colours, pink or black. If you’re being drawn to a colour explicitly, I would recommend wearing it for a while and seeing what unfolds.

• White – Crown chakra activation or blockage, a need for clearing energy
• Purple – Third eye activation or blockage, psychic abilities present
• Blue – Communication blockage or a need to tell someone how you feel, I also see blue in healers a lot
• Green – Your heart chakra is blocked or needs balancing, I also see green as a need to connect to nature
• Yellow – Personal power activation, spirit is feeding you power, I also see yellow as joy and “Yes”
• Orange – You need some passion in your life, some creativity, you also may need a boost in immunity
• Red – Grounding and power, red is an ignition of stability and strength and an indicator of your base chakra needing a boost
• Pink – Feminine energy, we need an addition of some self love and feminine rest
• Black – Masculine energy, protection and some “doing” energy

I trust inner guidance and random intervention more than I trust myself behind the wheel of my car. I have never been wrong, I never will be wrong and I know that if the information is not readily available this very second, the fact that I have the intuitive hit means that it is on it’s way. Mediums don’t control spirit, we surrender and listen to an energy that knows more than we do.
